2004 Chevy Trailblazer By Kakoa on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have had my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer for about three years now and overall I can't complain too much about it. I wanted a vehicle that was taller than cars, had good cargo room, and was going to be a good vehicle for when we have kids. So far we do not have kids, but it has fulfilled all the needs we have had for it.
I am able to haul just about anything inside this SUV that I want. The rear seats fold down easily and allow for longer objects to fit in the back. You can put either both or just one side of the bench seat down. We used to travel long distances with our dog. He had plenty of room in the back along with all of our other stuff we had to travel with. There are even little storage compartments in the back to hide small things away in.
Performance wise, I do miss the power of my old Chevy Silverado. The trailblazer is only a V-6, but it does ave enough pick up to pass semis on a 2-lane highway with no problem. Even when I am pulling a trailer behind it, you can still feel the power behind the engine. It also has auto and full 4x4 capability. This comes in handy on the icy roads.
The only thing I do not like is that you can hear the outside wind rushing fairly loud. Especially on the highway. But if you are listening to music it can be drowned out. Also, the gas mileage is nothing special. The last time I calculated it on an everyday use came to about 18-19 MPG. On the highway it came to about 23 MPG.

Great truth in the sound of the wind...says: "Turn up the Tunes"
Other than the gas milage, we have owned two of these vehicles, and enjoy the SUV
