2004 Mazda 3
By Jeff Reaves onThis is the best vehicle I have purchased so far. I purchased my car brand new a little over four years ago. I was in love with the car the moment I first saw the Mazda commercial....ZOOM, ZOOM, ZOOM! I new when I went to the dealership, that I wanted the car exactly like the one in the commercial which was a silver car. The car looked even better in person than on television. The paint was actually a metallic color that sparkled. I usually hate shopping for a vehicle because I do not like dealing with the sales people but I have to say that the Mazda dealership was very friendly and the experience was good. I remember while I was driving my new car back home, I had to watch my speed. When I looked at my speedometer, I was going 90 mph and felt as if I could go faster. It was not intentional. It was just that the car drove so smooth and was easy to handle on the road, that it actually felt like I was going maybe 60 mph. The car's engine is also very quiet. I have been sitting idle in my car several times forgetting that the car was already on and actually tried to turn it on again!
Of course the look of the car was my initial reason for purchasing the Mazda 3 but the gas mileage was an addtional bonus. It gets 26 City MPG and 34 Highway MPG. I also look at the safety features. It has dual front air bags. The passenger air bag deactivates if a person/pet less than 60 pounds is sitting in the passenger seat. It also has a Tire Pressure Monitoring System to let you know if if tire pressure is too high/low or if tire temperature is too high. The Mazda 3 has front bucket seats with anti-whiplash design. It has an engine-immobilizer anti-theft systemwhich means that the car will only start with a key it recognizes. The theft device also constantly flashes a small red light when the car is not on which I really like. This lets thieves know that there is some type of theft device on the car.
In 4 years, I have put over 70,000 miles on my car. So far it has been a great vehicle with few problems other than the basic maintenance. I have always heard that Mazda makes great vehicles and now I am a believer. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Wow... does it really get 34 on the highway? That is impressive.
