2005 Fender Jazz Bass By Tony on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I am reviewing a 2005 black Fender Jazz bass. This bass was made in Mexico and has a rosewood fretboard, and two Jazz bass pickups.

I am mainly a guitar player, but wanted to purchase a bass and I looked no further than Fender for this need. I was debating between the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass, but opted for the Jazz bass due to the two pickups and the versatility of the instrument.

I find this instrument to be built very well and has the feel of an instrument twice its price. The neck is smooth as silk and is quite easy to play. I like the different tones you can get out of this instrument. You can even get tones pretty close to the Precision bass.

I definitely recommend this instrument and feel it is a very good value for the money. It is a quality instrument and has held up very nicely.
