2005 Mazda Mpv Lx By Summer Banks on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

After moving to Las Vegas with four children, we knew we would eventually have to buy a larger vehicle. We were traveling in a 1989 Ford Econovan that had seen better days. After test driving several minivans, we settled on the Mazda MPV. Our mistake was quickly evident!

The Mazda MPV is a roomy enough car if all you want to transport are people. Actually purchasing groceries for a family of six for a week at a time requires a bit of houdini work thanks to the utter lack of trunk space.

Aside from a tiny trunk, the Mazda MPV has little or no get up and go to the engine. There have been times when I truly believed the minivan was not gonig to make it up a small graded hill.

Overall, the vehicle has been very reliable and satisfactory. But, I would never purchase a Mazda MPV again.
