Reviewing: Toyota Prius
Purchased at: Toyota Dealer

I bought my Toyota Prius on a whim.We were surprised to find a brand new Prius sitting on the dealers lot one Sunday afternoon and decided to go in Monday morning to test drive it.I took my test drive in a snow storm & immediately fell in love with the car.I purchased my Prius that day for the sticker price. This car has performed perfectly for me for almost three years now. While I do not get the 50 MPG that Toyota claims, I average around 40+ MPG in the warmer months and 35+MPG in the colder months.I am pleased with the mileage that I am able to get from the car. There are tricks to getting better mileage, i.e. slower acceleration, slower driving speeds, maintaing speed, etc.I typically drive the same way I would drive a non-hybrid car & still see great gas mileage.I am very happy with my Prius & cannot imagine owning any other vehicle.

Toyota is a great car company, their cars last a really long time.

We are hearing a lot of praise for the improved ride and performance in the Prius. With gas prices hovering at nearly $4.00 per gallon, and spot pricing on the barrel predicted to hit $140. pbb, we all need to be going green. I hope the automakers set the pricing low enough so that anyone can get one.

we want one but it might be to small for our growing family. saving money on gas would be great though.
