I purchased this truck in February of this year (2008) and have been in love ever sense. anywhere i drive i am always turning heads. It has a 4.3 V6 that easily tows my trailer and pulls me up big hills. This truck sports a manual transmission, 6 foot bed, single cab and a sleek shiny exterior. I plan to keep it for a long time and I expect it to last a long time due to Chevy's reputation of reliable vehicles. Lately I have been using it to drive down to mizzou to see all of my friends which is about 100 miles from my house. This usually consumes about a half tank of gas total, depending on how I drive but for a truck thats not too bad. If your looking for amazing gas mileage then a big Chevy truck is not your cup of tea. I have done a lot of upgrades to the truck such as: HID headlights,LED taillights, window tint, stereo unit, subs, under body lights (see photos), radar detector, 20 rims, spray on bed liner and much much more. I find all of these upgrades were very easy to do. The truck is all around very simple. The seats are very plush and comfortable. They have a bit of a bucket seat shape to them so it forms to your back for a comfortable bump free ride. I have added a tool box to the bed of the truck so I can put my towing ropes, My books, and anything else that I don't have room for in the cab. but thats another review :). if your on the market for a truck I highly recommend a Silverado. You will not be disappointed with this vehicle. It performs amazing in all areas of the board. And the 2008 models have an all new body style and interior that makes my mouth water
