2006 Kona Stuff By Kevin Wilson on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I purchased a Kona Stuff during a year end sale in November of 2006, and this bike has been the best thing I have ever bought. Right off the showroom floor, it jumped like a champ and handled like a dream, with great compononts for only an eight hundred and sixty dollar bike. The only complaint that I have about the bike as it came from the store is the fork. IT came with a Marzocchi Drop Off IV fork, which came with an awesome twenty millimeter through-axle setup, which was the only good thing about the fork. Its hundred and ten milimeters of travel were stiff and sticky, so I switched to a Marzocchi Z1 Bomber fork, which offers a hundred and fifty millimeters of travel. It amde the bike much more balanced in mid-air, and greatly increased its downhill ability. If you buy this bike, upgrade the fork.
