2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Flex Fuel Version By elkper on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a review of the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, flexible fuel version. This is a very nice truck. It has very nice comfortable seats and there are plenty of cup holders and plugs to charge cell phones, ipods, DVD players etc. The sound system has a spot to plug your ipod in so you can use that instead of DVD's also. The engine switches between 4 and 8 cylinders based on your driving. This really helps improve fuel efficiency. During normal around town driving I get about 17 mpg in this truck which I think is excellent considering how large it is, but on the highway it gets around 22 mpg. This is better than the Trailblazer I turned in when I purchased this truck. It also has the flexible fuel option, so you can use E-85 in it. This does cause the gas mileage to go down about 20 percent, and the engine does not switch to 4 cylinders so you need to make sure that the E-85 is enough cheaper to make up for the lower fuel economy. Overall, this is a great truck if you need the cargo space or towing capability.
