2007 Year of the 360

Now there are alot of people who don't like the 360, and I can understand with its RRoD problem, but everything has flaws and the Microsoft Xbox 360 is no exception. Microsoft introduced the 360 in November 22nd 2005 across North America. This was part of a strategy giving them a larger base of installed users than its competitors which were release much later. The Xbox 360 has its major selling point, Xbox Live, which cannot be rivaled by both Nintendo and Sony no matter how hard they try. Xbox live delivers digital content such as TV Shows, HD Movies, Game Demos, Xbox Live Arcade games so you can relieve the classics and play small developer/hobbyist developer games. It provides a way to keep in touch with friends and family with its addition of the Windows Live Messenger add-on. In 2007 the Xbox 360 was voted to have the best gaming selection, of course who could argue? With games such as Halo 3, Gears of War, Mass Effect, and Oblivion its no wonder 2007 was truely the year of the Xbox 360.
