2008 Altima Hybrid By Megan8607 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I test drove a 2008 Hybrid Altima today, and fell in love. This car has it all, at over 30 MPG in the city, this car has alot to offer. I love the color options, the package options, and the transmission technology. I've been looking at hybrids for awhile, but Nissan was never in my top few to try; after riding with a friend in her brand new Prius, I decided that the Prius was not what I wanted. I wanted something bigger, plusher, and more sporty, even if that meant sacrificing a few MPG. I drive a Honda Accord currently, and I'm looking to change very soon. The Altima's power is second to none, and I couldn't feel a huge difference in power between the hybrid and my V-6 Accord. and I could hardly tell when it was switching from motor to electric. (which was very noticible in the Prius) The car is very speedy, and has alot of great packages to offer the driver. I can't wait to go pick one out!

This sounds like a great car - the MPG sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing...
I had no idea there was an Altima Hybrid. I want to buy a hybrid as my next car and this sounds like one to check into. Especially if the get up and go is better than others I have heard about.
I did not know that the Altima came in a hybrid option. I am surprised that it has as much power as a V-6 Accord.
I think Altimas have always been nice looking cars, I am happy to know they went green ;)
I love Altima's. They are sharp looking cars. I didn't know they made it in a hybrid vehicle. Would love to own one of these.
I've been looking at these to. Thanks for the great information.
I love the look of these cars & didn't realize until recently that they were hybrids!
What was the starting price for the model you tested out?
Thanks for the infomation. It's good to know there is a now a better choice of hybrid cars.
Thanks for sharing. I'd love to hear an update once you buy it regarding the gas mileage and savings.
