2008 Ford Escape Limited By Janna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My husband recently purchased a 2008 Ford Escape Limited edition as a gift for me. I absolutely love this vehicle and if you are thinking about buying an SUV then this car may just be the one for you. I was weary of this car at first because of having owned SUVs in the past. Most everybody knows that these cars are terrible "gas guzzlers". The 2008 Ford Escape Limited edition does really well on gas. I get about 23 miles on the high way and about 19-20 mpg around town.

The exterior of the Escape has been updated and now resembles a small Expedition. The interior is what sold me on this car. The interior is all tan leather with black accents. Sirius Satellite Radio comes standard with this vehicle but you are responsible for subscription (although the company we bought the car from threw in Sirius Radio free for a year). The Sirius system is built right into the dash board, which makes the car look and feel very high-tech.

The car comes with power windows, power locks, power seats, and a directional system. The only thing that is lacking with the 2008 Ford Escape Limited edition is a standard navigational and DVD system. The DVD system is not available on any Ford Escape models. The Navigational system can be added for around $3000.

If you are looking for a new SUV I would absolutely recommend at least test driving this vehicle.
