2008 Jetta Review - Have owned 5 VW's

I absolutley love my 2008 Jetta.It is sporty and tight and handles very well on the road except for the fact that the braking system doesn't respond as quickly as my previous Jetta, which was a stick shift.This is my first automatic VW.I was disapointed that I couldn't purchase a leather package after having one in my GLX VR6 but must say that the leatherette is actually very comfortable and easy to clean and care for (I have a labrador and make frequent trips to the beach).The only disappointment is a surprising one - the heating system.Every veedub I've owned has had an excellent heating system, but this one has a flaw.It will only heat the air if I turn the dial to the hottest setting which only gives me one temperature option - very hot!I use the seat heaters on cold days to supplement the heating system but I would like to have a working heating system.The ipod adapter is a dream & huge plus!
