This is my daughter's new car she bought in May for her move to Florida. She needed a car with better gas mileage than the SUV she owned and certainly wouldn't need the all-wheel drive that she needed for the snow in Michigan.
We think this is a great car for the money and for her. The 2008 Lancer ES 4-door/5 passenger sedan is sporty yet practical, has good gas mileage and some really nice on board equipment.
The color is electric blue with a black interior. Some of the standard equipment are dual front and side air bags, side curtain air bags and driver's side knee airbag. Tire pressure monitoring system, anti-theft alarm system, air conditioning, power door locks, remote keyless entry and rear heater floor ducts are all standard along with a host of other features.
Some of the optional features this car came with were the sun and sound package which includes a 650 watt rockford-fosgate sound system w/9 speakers including a 10" subwoofer in the trunk. Srius Satellite radio with 6 months free service, 6 CD/MP3 in-dash head unit and power glass sunroof
The features we love the best are the hands free bluetooth phone system with voice recognition and the 30GB HDD navigation system (GPS) which is great for guiding her to all the new places she will be driving to in Florida.
The warranty is 10 year/100,00 for the powertrain, 7 year/100,000 anti-corrosion, 5 year/60,000 bumper to bumper and 5 year/Unlimited for roadside assistance. This Lancer also rates 5 stars for fronttal and side crash for the driver and 4 stars for the passenger and rear seating.
This car is very comfortable and even for me, a devoted SUV driver, it is easy to get in and out of with my troublesome knees. For the price I think it has a lot of extras, even I don't have bluetooth and GPS in my Lexus.
On the drive down to Florida the car averaged 33mpg which was great with the cost of gas these days. Average is 22 to 26 mpg in the city and 29 to 34 mpg highway. The rear seats fold down and we had lots of room to pack all her personal belongings on the drive down to Florida.
We like this car but my daughter loves it so that is most important.

Lot of bang for the buck in this Mitsubishi Alice. She made a wise and economical choice, that will hopefully last her a few years.
