The 25 ft. retractable dog leash made by SafePets is the best $3.00 that I've ever spent.
I found it at Dollar General, and have been using it for several months now.The ridiculously low price is misleading - this is a very well made product. The "handle" holds 25 feet of sturdy line inside of it, which can be adjusted to any length desired, then locked in place.
I use it at the full 25 ft. length to tie my dog outside by hooking the handle onto the porch railing. Then, when I walk him, I shorten it to a comfortable length, and off we go.
I was skeptical at first as to how long this would last, because of the cheap price, but it has turned out to be one of those gems you discover once in a while. The handle, line, and clasp are all high quality, and the retraction feature has always worked flawlessly. I love the adjustability for all situations - longer for walks where there is more room for your dog to roam, or shorter to keep him closer to you when in a more public setting. Highly recommended!

I see people with these leashes all the time. They seem more practical than your run-of-the-mill leash. Are they good for a dog that pulls? That would be my problem. With an 80 lb dog at the end of a leash it can be challenging!

3 dollars?????????????????? I spent about 19 at Wal-mart!!!!!! Am I allowed to say mean vicious things about companies here? LOL but I do love these leashes!
I don't have any pets so I've never priced out pet supplies but by George-you got a steal of a deal with your leash!!!!!
