300, Glory! By Ninpo on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
When I saw the first 300 trailer I was amazed. The dramatic acting really mesmerized me. It was something that I wanted to watch for a long time. After seeing the movie I was captivated. What really makes the film different was the backgrounds and effects. All scenes except for one (the Persian riding a horse in the beginning) was film in one spot. It was all done in a studio with a blue screen. Some people have criticized this movie as not much of a storyline. I somewhat agree with them on that, but thats whats great. Its a movie that every 10 minutes will involve a guy screaming with his shirt off or fighting. Its not a movie for those who'd rather see more talking than action. This movie gets you pumped up and gives you motivation and energy in what you're doing. I got pumped for a math test the day after, which wasn't bad. The DVD features were great too, it shows what the actors and writers were thinking as well as a video entitled 300 training which shows you what the actors needed to go through in obtaining their physique. This movie will and has become a classic that will allow you to repetitvely watch.
Warner Bros. 300

One of my all time favorite movies. 300 is a visual masterpiece, it's just awesome. I used to watch this movie the night before a big football game in college to get myself pumped to take the field.
