The movie 300 is based on the graphic novels by frank miller. It is a great story of the battle of Thermopylae in which, King Leonidas took 300 of his greatest soldiers to fight thousands of invading persians. Gerad Butler stars as King Leonidas and does a great job portraying the king. All of the actors that were spartans in this film had to go into serious training for this film to get into the shape of a spartan warrior. I bought the special best buy edition of the film, which came with a bonus special features disk as well as a mini spartan helmet. The bonus disk is full of alot of bonus material including, a look at sparta's history and some long interviewers with historians, Frank Miller and the director Zack Snyder.
