Reviewing: Buffalo Games 3 D Spherical Puzzle

This puzzle is 530 pieces, and is 9.5" in diameter. The Antique Globe assembles into a free standing sphere, except for the collar stand, that is for displaying. In making this puzzle you use traditional jigsaw pieces, that fit into the sphere. As you build the puzzle it curves skyward, and takes formwhere you will see the ancientmarining charts . The look is in the form of time gone by, when explorers sailed the oceans in search of new lands to explore. When you are about to complete the puzzle, and put in the last piece, you will find that it is the North Pole, which has a trap door cutinto it the piece. With a trap door , you are allowed to snap the last piece into place, and then reclose.

My husband loves these 3D puzzles, but this one is with traditional pieces, which he has a hard time putting together. Lets see how he does with this one, for i'm always looking for something different for him to do.

Sweet! I've done two similar round puzzles myself. A traditional "Globe" and a scene from Thomas Kinkade. They were great fun!

I've never done a 3D puzzle. Looks interesting and wouldn't take up as much room as a traditional puzzle. Always up for a new challenge!!
