3 M Adhesive Command Hooks By Rae777 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I am always looking for ways to get more stuff hung up and out of the way. I don't want to have to put a hole in the wall using a nail every time I wanna hang up something. While I was shopping in Wal-Mart I discovered an easier way to put up a hook and that was by using 3M Adhesive Command Hooks. The 3M Adhesive Command Strips allows you to put a hook where you need one. These hooks have an adhesive strip on the back that allow you to put them and take them down easily.
They come in several sizes such as the micro hook, utensil hook and the mini hook that hold a half pound of weight. They also have the small hook that holds 1 pound of weight. The medium hook, the deco medium hook, chrome designer medium hook and the medium designer hook holds 3 pounds of weight. The 3M Adhesive Command
Hook also comes in a large hook that can hold 5 pounds and a jumble hook back that can hold 7 1/2 pounds.
I like these hooks they stick nicely on many surfaces and they work better than the off brand that is available.
As I use these I find that they stick better to certain surfaces. I find they don't stick as well to concrete walls but a wood wall they stick to fine. I would say if your going to put any real amount of weight on them buy the biggest hook available even if you are just hanging a light weight jacket on them. The bigger hooks are pricier but they stay put better.
3M Adhesive Command Hooks Purchased at: Anywhere/ Wal-mart Price: 2.50 and up depending on which hook you buy

I've had a poster hanging on a door for a couple of years with one of these. I didn't have to damage the door to hang it.
These are useful and so easy to use!
I think I will buy some of these for my mudroom for the kids' coats. I don't like putting holes in the walls either and these would be great as long as they didn't remove the paint when you took them off.
