In another review, I mentioned that my dog Ike has an allergy every August that causes him to get dry skin and itch continuously (see Bio-groom anti-itch gel review). In addition to the anti-itch gel, I also bought a liquid dietary supplement called 3V caps that helps his skin and gives him a bright, shiny coat.

The 3V Caps comes in a 6 oz pump bottle that makes it easy to apply to his food. The recommend amount is on the label as follows: 1-19 lbs. ½ pump, 20-39 lbs. 1 pump, 40-59 lbs. 2 pumps, 60-79 lbs. 3 pumps, 80-100 lbs. 4 pumps.

The ingredients that help give him the healthy skin and coat are Fish Oil, vitamins A, D & E. I usually give this to him regularly while he is experiencing the allergy in the month of August, but it can be used regularly to keep your dog's skin and coat in the best condition. I have noticed a difference when using this product within a day or two of using it.
