4 Gallon Humidifier By Mary60 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Every year when the weather gets cold and we turn our heat on, we also plug in the humidifier. I am one who gets shocks from everthing. Everytime i touch someone it transfers to them. My kids purchased this for me,what a relief. Honeywell is also a brand name, and the 4 gallon cool moisture replaces the dryness in my home. Dry air is pulled through the system, and a fan blows out moisture. The fan is pretty quiet. .

This humidifier comes in only four parts. A central housing unit, a water tank, a moisture filter, and the base. The filter costs about $10, and i replace every two years. This unit is very easy to refill, and by setting the control knob for selected humidity you can maintain the level of humidity you need. The unit will turn off and on according to the level set. The unit has a light that flashes when the unit needs a refill of water. This light goes out when you have refilled the tank. The only thing i can say negative about this product is the cleaning. It takes forever to get the pieces cleaned-I do this every year so it's ready for the next use and for safety reasons. I will recommend this item for those dry homes.
