45 Master Characters By hoover3875 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Writer's Digest Book Club's 45 Master Characters is a different take on creating an outline. It is based on archetypes. The first section is about what archetypes are and why use them. The next section is on creating female heroes and villains. Then the following one is on creating male heroes and villains. Next is the section on creating supporting characters. After that is the one about the journey for both female and male. Two hundred and ninety-eight pages are in this book. The forty-five master characters are based on ancient gods and goddess. Each character has a section. And each one describes information on the different characters. It sets the outline up as a play with acts. There are three acts all together. There is a beginning, middle and end. I use this book for many short stories.
