50 First Dates

50 First Dates is one of my favorite movies.I bought my copy at a dvd exchange store for $7.00.I can watch this movie over and over again.I love the humor of Adam Sandler and the chemistry that Drew Barrymore brings to the movie. If you are a fan of Adam Sandler movies then you know to expect Rob Schneider to be in this film too.The setting is in Hawaii and the scenery is beautiful.If you have ever been to Hawaii you will find yourself looking for familiar places.The move starts out by showing Henry (Adam Sandler) as the perfect bachelor living in a hawaiian paradise. Local boy meets girl on vacation. Has fun with her. Vacation is over and the girl goes home.Next! That is until he meets Lucy (Drew Barrymore).He soon finds out that she has been in an accident and has short term memory loss. So he could take advantage of the situation but instead he ends up falling for Lucy.I won't tell you the ending.You will have to get the movie and watch it for yourself.The dvd has some extra features along with some deleted scenes you didn't see in the movie theater. It would be a perfect movie for a date night.Highly recommended. I think I will go watch it right now!
Since you clearly go to Hawaii alot, I think this movie was filmed at "the Pink Palace"....right on Waikiki. You should definitely check it out, its very "old Hollywood" I loved it.

I enjoyed this movie too. The concept of someone starting their life anew every day is very original; add to it falling in love, and you have comedy-slash-drama. The ending surprised me... I won't give it away either! :)
