60gb Sony Playstation 3 By Markeeze on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I've been a Sony lover for as long as I remember. Their quality, prices, and sturdiness have always impressed me. As a gamer I especially love Playstation. I owned the playstation 1, 2, and now the latest Playstation 3. Ok, now we get detailed I think you know more about my life now (hahahahaha). The PS3 is a shiny, large, expensive looking piece of equipment, that at its release was geared toward the rich (in my mind) at a $600 price tag it stood up to its look. It was available in an 80 GB, 60 GB, 40 GB, and 20 GB version. For price related means Sony discontinued all models except the 80 GB and removed backwards compatibility. The 60 GB is by far the best model. It has memory card reader slots on a front panel that flips up, 4 usb ports, backwards compatibility, and chrome trim/logo. Because of its full compatibility thanks to the built in emotion chip, which is basically the same chip the ps2 uses, it is now the rarest and most expensive of its brothers. Another feature that is overlooked is the extra fans on the back which help prevent overheating. Other than that it performs just as the other ps3s, however it still comes with the standard sixaxis controller when you buy it used. Thank you for reading and please comment/rate/ask any questions you may have.
