7 Pattern Hose Nozzle By dsnygrl on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I live in Georgia where we have been in a severe drought for the last year. Last summer all outdoor watering was banned but in May of this year, they lowered the restriction and we were allowed to water for a limited amount of time on certain days of the week but only with a hose that has a water control nozzle.
The hose that we use on the side of our house did not have one so on a trip to Walmart we looked for one that had more than one type of spray and was inexpensive. The nozzle we picked had 7 different spray patterns and at $1.97, it was inexpensive.
It is constructed of plastic and has a rubberized grip which makes it easy to hold on to when you hands are wet. With just a twist, you can move from one type of spray to another. The dial is easy to turn and even my six year old can do it with no problem. The 7 patterns are jet, mist, shower, flat, center, full and cone so it works great for everything from lawns to hanging baskets. It has a screw dial in the back that allows you to adjust the water pressure and a metal hook that slides in place to hold it on so you do not have to keep squeezing the trigger.
We have been using it for a little over two months now. We have had no problems with it's performance and we are very pleased with it. It allowed us to take care of our lawn and our plants and fulfill the requirements of the restriction.

For something so small, it's excellent that it has seven different patterns!
I am going to tell my husband about this one...I like the 7 different spray patterns!
I have had 3 different brands of these and they all start to leak around the rotating collar sooner or later. I'm still looking for a good one.
I like the looks of this one. I need a new nozzle!
I agree with Chai. After buying over a dozen nozzles in the last 5 years, this one makes sound sense. If it lasts even a season, I've gotten a good ROI.
