I bought this GFM portable DVD player from the Meijers store more than a year ago during their Black Friday sale for only $40. We brought it on a trip with our grandson so he would be entertained on the plane. It has a nice carrying case to store the player and all the accessories. It came with ear buds, which are kind of hard to keep in for a three year old, so we have since bought headphones so they stay put. This player has gotten a lot of use and has had no problems. The only complaint I have, is that the sound is very low when you are using the machine without the headphones. The sound is perfect with the headphones and the picture is very good. I think this is a very durable portable DVD player that has stood the test of a three year old.

We've had no luck with portable DVD players in the past, but maybe it's time to check out a new brand. It's pretty good validation of a worthy product if it can outlast a 3 year old.
