8 Crazy Nights on DVD is an animated movie that stars the voices of Adam Sandler as well as fellow SNL alumni John Lovitz and Rob Schneider, and many others. Sandler voices the main character Davey Stone, as well as two other characters, Whitey and his twin sister Elanore. Stone is a 30-something guy who is a heavy drinker and chronic self-loather who hates the holiday season, and Whitey is Stone's former basketball coach who wants to help Davey stop hating himself and the holidays. As the title states, it is about the Hanukkah season, and that is one of the reasons he has bad memories about the holiday season. I think the movie is very entertaining, and has several enjoyable special features including a new version of Sandler's classic Hanukkah Song made famous on SNL's Weekend Update. I feel that this is a good holiday movie, and a must have for people who enjoy comedies and/or movies about the hoiday season.
