8 Person Picnic Table

When we built our deck, I wanted a picnic table that the entire family would be able to sit at together.I knew it would be a wood table to keep with the outdoor decor we already have in the backyard.

This wooden table caught my eye as we drove past the display for Buckeye Barns in Maumee, Ohio. This is an table with seating for 8 people.This is perfect!My two grown children and their spouses, my two grandchildren, my husband and myself, all fit on the seats.

A word of warning.This is a very very heavy piece of outdoor furniture!We had them deliver it to our home and set it up.Save your back and time and let them do it!It took the delivery people at least 2 hours to set it up.I think it should have been set up much quicker, but they took their time to make sure it was perfect.

We have enjoyed this picnic table for many years now and it is just now starting to show some warping on the table top.We did treat it with a sealant, but these things still happen.I rated the comfort a 3 because it's wood.A few cushions on top of the seats would be a bit more comfortable if you are going to sit for an extended amount of time.

For our family of 8, this is the perfect table. But, we just found out that our daughter is pregnant ......wonder if they make this table in a 9 or 10 seater?!
