The 8 Waves Waterpark and Hotel has been our place for a get away during summer twice. It is located in San Rafael, Bulacan and has plenty of pools. For me, it is one of the biggest resorts I have seen in the Philippines yet with the following amenities and features for kids and adults:* An almost 3,000 sq. m. Wave pool. The excitement starts when the big waves begin to move.

* A 500 sq. m. Kiddie Pool having Noah's Ark in the center.

* Lap pool for the experts.

* The three hydro-jet Bubble pools.

* Spacious bamboo huts, steel cottages and pool umbrellas.

* Food court (food and drinks not allowed inside). During our visit, we brought with us food and drinks and finished it outside the resort.

* Function halls.

* 9-hole mini-golf, volleyball court, billiards and playground.

* Souvenir shop and clinic.

* Hotel for those who want to stay overnight or days.

Although the place is one to one ½ hours far from our place, it's worth the travel and waiting because there are number of pools and spacious amenities awaiting us. As much as we want to bring our food and drinks inside but we can't as per policy but I guess that is the only down issue for me. It is still a great place to visit during summer.
