802.11g Wireless Lan Card Bus Pc Card By rcpae on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this card for my laptop, so we could use it at home on our wireless network. This card was a piece of cake to install, and Windows XP recoginized it, installed the driver and it was ready to go. The problem was, I couldn't get reception anywhere. I could be five feet away from the wireless router and the signal seemed weak. I'm sure it wasn't the router, because ones I got a new wireless adapter everything worked fine. It did work on occasion, and when it did there were no problems with it. It seemed to keep a steady yet low flow of traffic thru it. So, it is very easy to install, but connectability is important and Xterasys wireless LAN cadbus pc card's connectability was terrible.
