A Beautiful Holiday Dress

With the holidays right around the corner, I usually try to purchase something special for Thanksgiving and Christmas (if I don't have something already.) There are so many activities to attend during the holiday season, and not having to worry about clothing is a blessing, so I try to plan out my outfits.I also have an anniversary and a birthday in November, and we usually go out for a special dinner, so I need something nice for those occasions also.

When I saw this dress on Ebay, I knew it would be good for any of these occasions.It is made by Citiknits, of that wonderful lightweight knit fabric that doesn't wrinkle and flows so beautifully. It is a burgundy color, which makes it perfect for the holidays.It is 90% acetate and 10% spandex.I usually hand wash my outfits made of this, and then hang to dry, but it could also be machine washed in a cold water wash, and then hung to dry.

The style is very nice, and can be dressed up or down. It is a full length tank dress with a coordinating poncho top. The dress has a jewel neckline and a slit on one side.The poncho drapes very nicely, and has a scalloped edge. It is a lovely dress, and I know I will enjoy wearing it, whatever the occasion.
