We've been using Honeywell for a long time now, to operate our central air/heat with their thermostats. They have yet to let us down.

With our old thermostat, it went out one time. Though we didn't have any warranty on it, they replaced it for us in short order.

This time, we bought a shiny new thermostat. This is a "touchscreen programmable thermostat". It was very easy to install, and includes a detailed instruction manual, though it should be fairly easy to figure out. There's a digital read out, and all you have to do is touch the screen. It lights up when you do so, and you can adjust your settings by following the prompts to gently press it in the correct areas.

If you are in need of a new thermostat for your home, I highly recommend this model.
