A Bend In The Road By Nicholas Sparks By allie63078 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I just can't say much about this book that I didn't like except that it came to an end. I certainly didn't want it to because for me, this book was wonderful from beginning to end.

This book tells the story of Miles Ryan and his son Jonah and their life after the death of Miles wife Missy. Missy was killed by a hit & run driver and Miles now puts on himself the burden of discovering who his wife's killer is. In the process, he meets Sarah, Jonah's schoolteacher, who teaches Miles how to live & love again. In the end, due to his relationship with Sarah, he is able to discover who his deceased wife's killer is and has to come to terms with that discovery.

The character development in this book is great and I love how you not only get the main story line of Miles, Jonah & Sarah, but you also get a periodic look into the mind of the person who killed Miles' wife Missy and at least for me, it was a surprise as to who it was in the end.
