A Birthday Beanie Baby For Everyone By JPnMO on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
A friend and I have birthdays just one day apart. We live in different states and send gifts to each other. This is one we each could have bought for the other.
Beanie Babies have been popular collectibles for many years. I think the fanatical craze has finally died down, but they're still popular and found in most gift shops.
This is my birthday beanie, appropriately called "May". I love the tie-dyed design on the body with all the bright, cheerful colors. Her head is light green and she is wearing a green ruffled ribbbon with gold trim around her neck and has a birthday cake with "MAY" written on it and several candles on the cake.
I always leave the tags on my Beanie Babies. They give information about the name or character represented. On this tag, it says that the name is "May" and that "My nose is the color of my birthstone, Emerald". About Emerald, it says, "It brings good fortune and lots of fun".

I have a whole basement full of beanies, need any more?
Ah beanie babies, my daughter still has two large boxes of these she won't part with. They seem to multiply in there.
