A blender that doesn't blend!?!

Yes, I managed to find a blender that doesn't blend. The Black and Decker Pro Blend brushed stainless steel blender. I purchased it for $39.99 with simple expectations. I just needed something to make smoothies for my kids and the occasional frozen drink for us. Black and Decker is a reputable brand so I thought I was safe. Wrong!

First and foremost, this blender simply didn't blend. Whenever I would try to make a smoothie, there was always pieces of ice and chunks of fruit in the blender. Yes, I followed the recipes instructions. Yes, I used the most powerful setting. And no, it never worked properly.

In addition to the most basic function not working, after only a few uses, the bottom of the blender began to leak. Every time I used this it ended up a very big mess!

I was very disappointed in this item and would never purchase anything my Black & Decker for my kitchen again!
