I got the BabyBjorn as a baby shower gift. I had heard about it before, but didn't register for it because it looked difficult to use. This carrier straps over your shoulders and onto the carrier to help distribute the weight. I wasn't able to use this when my baby was first born, because she was a preemie. The minimum weight limit for this carrier is 8 pounds. Once she reached the right weight, I tried getting her in the carrier but ended up almost dropping her. Finally, I had my friend who bought the carrier show me how it worked. It was so much simpler than I thought, I felt like a total idiot. After that, I used the BabyBjorn everywhere we went. My daughter loved it because she could either cuddle up to me and sleep or face out and see the world. We used it for many trips to Walt Disney World and both she and I were totally comfortable. The maximum weight limit is 25 pounds, but I quit using it when she got around 20 pounds because she was too wiggly. I think this is a great carrier that is easy to use once you understand the instructions. It's light weight and easy to stuff in a diaper bag. It also was easy to clean and held up to many uses.
