A cell phone that is a little too basic.

Reviewing: Motorola C139
Purchased at: Tracfone     Price: $15.00 CAD

I bought the Motorola C139 thinking I might prefer it to my Nokia, which I like but is starting to get older.I'm a bit of a technophobe, and the most basic cell phone has always been enough for me.Style is not an issue.

This cell phone was too basic even for me.The keyboard is tiny.I have small hands, butmy husband couldn't easily key in a phone number without several mistakes. The menu is anything but intuitive, and the manual it comes with isn't always much help because it covers several different models.

Reception is okay, and the battery life is decent, although not as long as the basic Nokia's I have owned. One positive is the charger, which is small and easily portable.

This is an okay phone to keep in your glove compartment for emergencies.I took it with me on a trip, and was very happy to switch back tomy older phone upon return and stick this back in the glove box.I would not recommend this phone to anyone else, and will be donating it as soon as winter is over.
