My wife is compulsive sometimes about trying to organize stuff. This hose storage gaget is just one of the worthless things that we have laying around.

Now, to be fair, it is quite durable. It looks the same today as it did when she brougt it home 2 1/2 years ago. But as far as usefulness, it just does not work for us (as you can see in the picture, it is totally empty). Probably the number one reason it doesn't work is that rather than rolling or just releasing the hose, it tips over when I am pulling out the hose to water something....so instead of dragging the hose around, I am dragging the hose and the holder.

So, we just keep our hose coiled below the spicket. Sometimes low tech is the best way to go.
