If you know anything about orphan diseases like Wegener's Granulomatosis, these diseases are not studied too much because there are very few people with this disease. So medications that are used for this type of disease have been tried on other diseases first. For instance, I use imuran to keep my disease in remission. This drug was first used as a transplant drug (kidneys) and then for RA. Thankfully this medicaiton works to supress this disease.

Anyway, The Vasculitis Foundation supports some research for studying vasculitis diseases including Wegener's Granulomatosis. This cookbook was edited by WG caretakers and the recipes came from WG caretakers and patients to add some money for the research kitty.

I bought my own copy a few years ago. I have tried a few of the recipes. Under each of the recipe is the name and state of the person who added it to the cookbook. There are some very good recipes.

I have to say that the reason I bought the book was because the total twelve dollars is given to the Foundation. The Vasculitis Foundation has a low overhead (only a few people are paid). Most of the people who are involved with the foundation are volunteers.
