A Dartboard for the Masses
By Eggy onThis inexpensive dartboard is great for casual players.
Hardcore players would probably complain about the quality of this board compared to a sisal bristle board, and they would find the supplied darts lacking in feel and balance. However, for people like my friends and I who play very infrequently (and never seriously) this board and its darts are perfectly adequate.
The board is standard size (18 inches) and has a metal spider (the wire divider for the different score zones). One side of the board has the normal 20 point game on one size and a Baseball game target on the opposite side. The set comes with six steel tipped darts.
Sportcraft makes a variety of paper coiled, Bristle, and electronic dartboards.I think that this paper coiled one is one of their most inexpensive offerings.
To set-up a dartboard, the bull's eye should be 5 feet 8 inches off the floor (you can adjust this accordingly if you have short or tall friends). The throwing line should be 7 feet 9 inches from the board.Never put the board near valuables or breakables, and don't allow children or pets to play in front of the shooter.
This is a great dartboard for a cabin or out in the garage. If you are going to dedicate an area in the house, then it is probably worth it go get something a little more upscale (possibly with a cabinet).

Sounds like great fun! Thanks eggy!
