A Descent Scanner From Canon By shanks on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I own this printer for 1 long year and i am happy with what it delivers.

Its a flatbed scanner and the product offers nice features like good resolution(Optical Resolution -300 dpi and Max. Resolution-300*600 dpi ), compact in built(14.7*10.09*1.54 inch), very less image distortion in the scanned pics, cheap in price, comes with a one year warranty, works with any windows operating system ranging from Win95 to Win XP. The software provided with the package is quite friendly both in terms of installation and ease of use and does a lot of your work for you. The included optical character recognition software very fast scans the office documents. I have heard of people complaining about the installation and the drivers but for me it has worked just the fine. Installation is quite simple and there is no issue with the driver and in case you lost the CD, you can easily download it from the company website any time for free.

In one line a nice product and with good support from the company.
