A Fashionable SAK

With Spring here, I like to add some colorful handbags to my wardrobe. One of my favorite brands is SAK.My new handbags is a deep teal woven shoulder bag, also called a crossbody style. I usually wear mine hanging straight from my shoulder. It is a medium-sized bag, which is my favorite, as I am short, and a large purse always overwhelms me.The bag has a zipper closure, and features a zippered pocket inside, as well as two small pockets, which are perfect for lipstick.

These handbags are even washable! Simply hand wash with a mild detergent, and lay flat to dry.

I was a flower child in the 70s, and these bags remind me of the crocheted "hippie" purses back in the day.Their slogan is "A SAK On Every Back." They use environmentally-friendly materials, and are one of the largest handbag companies in the U.S. They also are a global corporation.

SAK bags come in a variety of designs and colors, and are just beautiful in their simplicity. Yesterday I wore this teal shoulder bag, a deep teal headband, and a multicolor blue/aqua necklace, with a black outfit and it was striking.
