My daughter got her first pair of contacts a few months ago. They came with a plain boring case to hold and clean them so when I saw this adorable bee contact lens case when I was picking her up some contact solution at Wal-mart, I knew it would make an awesome stocking stuffer for her.
The case has 2 screw topped openings just like any other contact case. One side has a rounded bubble top which looks like a bee while the other side has a picture of flowers. They are suitable for storage of soft and hard contact lenses during disinfection. They are the same general size and shape of a regular contact case but she says that the raised tops are actually easier for her to open and close than the regular case she had and when she carries the case with her, they are easier for her to find in her bag because of their shape and color.
She absolutely loved this when she opened it and she said that she hated the plain case had and had wondered if there were any other types of cases available. Having never worn contacts myself or been close to anyone that has, I had no idea what was available out there but I was glad I had stumbled upon these.
You can find these cases in Wal-mart displayed over the shelves where they sell contact lens solutions and eye drops. From the name, cute creatures, I assume these cases are available in more bug designs than the bee but I was in 2 different Wal-Mart stores and the bee was the only one like this that they had in stock. They did however have a few other cases that had different designs to them. This case would be perfect for children, teens or adults alike and take contact cases from being plain and boring to fun and fabulous.

What a great idea! The design possibilities for these are endless. I'm surprised I haven't seen something like this sooner. Great for kids.

This is so neat! My hubby wears contacts and I always thought the cases were so dull. Mfgs would be wise to make up more of this kind of thing because contacts are so widely used.
