Our weed eater broke all of a sudden when my husband was using it. We were not too surprised as it was years old and we were probably due for a new one.
So we headed off to Walmart to look for a quick and cheap replacement. We did not want to spend a lot on a new weed eater.
Imagine our joy when we saw a weed eater on clearance. The Weed Eater Featherlite Xtreme Gas Trimmer was regularly $79 and here it was on clearance for only $24! We could not pass that deal up. We figured it is turned out to even last a year or two it we would get our money out of it.
It has a 25 cc engine and a 16 inch cutting path.
My husband went to work right away and tried it out. It is easy to handle and lightweight. I can voucher that it is lightweight since I even tried it out. It stays running and it is excellent for trimming the grass along the edges of the driveway or a flowerbed.
It is nothing fancy and I don't know if it will hold up to the test of time, but for the price we paid for it we are very pleased.
