A Great At Home Color By s_harger on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I decided to go ahead and dye my hair the other day. This is the first time I ever had my hair colored other than a professional highlight job a few years back. I thought this hair color was great. I decided to go with the non permanent natural instincts just in case. I loved it though. It was so easy to use. I learned a few years back when I went to beauty school that it helps if you put petroleum jelly around your hairline so the color doesn't stick to your skin. There are quite a few different shades to pick from. I am a natural brunette. I just went a little darker of a brown. I had a few random strands of gray hairs and it covered them up pretty well. There were not to many so I don't know how well they cover up a large amount of grays. If you are just wanting a little bit of a change and don't know for sure how well your going to like it. I recommend going with a non permanent color. It made my hair so soft afterward too.
