My parents got me this camera for my birthday around 2 or 3 years ago. I didn't really want a camera but boy did I take to it. It is a great point and shoot camera with 5.1 mega-pixels. It is also very user friendly. The cons of this camera is like most digital it doesn't take great shots at night. It also has very limited space for storing photos but nothing another 1gb memory card wont fix. The zoom is pretty good but the picture doesn't come out as clear obviously. I am also very very clumsy and have dropped this camera a few times and it has come out working fine, it's my little soldier. What I really loved about this camera was the display size which is huge it takes up most of the back of the camera. I loved taking this with me when we would go on vacation which fits great in the front pocket of my jeans or the back. If you wanted to buy a good simple camera for the beginner I highly reccommend this camera.
