Ever since I first got my Blackberry Curve, I had been looking locally for a specific case that I wanted for it. Even though I had a case that came with the phone, it was a closed face slip cover case, just the no frills protective cover that its packaged with. So anytime I wanted to use the phone, I'd have to take it out of the case. Something I didn't care for. I wanted a case with a clear protective cover that only covers the screen, leaving the keys open for use. A case with adequate protection, easy access to jacks/ports, and a easy detachable belt clip. One I could leave on my phone all the time if I want, and still use it with ease. I looked all over for this, and finding this one wasn't easy. I tried a couple Verizon stores and they didn't have it. I tried bunch of alternative stores that carried cell cases, none came close to what I had my sites set on. In fact, I had one sales person tell me that they didn't make cases like the one I described for the Blackberry Curve! I was determined though to not settle for something else. Finally, after turning my search back to Verizon again, I found a store that had exactly what I had in mind!

The case is made by and packaged by Wireless Connections. It's black leather "like" material and has a clear cover to protect the screen, with a open face portion for access to the keys. The phone slides down into the case and the top flips closes and snaps to keep it secure inside. The belt clip is easily detachable and is very useful and durable, I use it all the time. The back portion of the case is slightly padded to help protect the phone. The one problem is no open area for the camera lens, so if you want to click a photo, you have to slide it out of the case. Which I don't mind. because I rarely use the camera. So overall, this is a great case for a good price, but not all stores have them, so you might want to call them first before you make the trip.
