I recieved a really great casserole dish for Christmas. It is made by Anchor Hocking, from the Oven Basics line. It is a 2 quart model with handles and a lid.

I like that this casserole dish can be used in the oven or microwave, and can also store food in the refridgerator or freezer safely. Food bakes more evenly in this Anchor Hocking Glasswear casserole dish than it would in metal, and the clear glass is nice for checking on whatever you might be baking.

I like that the glass is made in the USA, and my particular casserole was made in nearby Lancaster Ohio.

I also LOVE the Anchor bakewear five year warranty. If this casserole dish cracks, chips or breaks I can send in the warranty sheet and they will replace the dish.

I will definately purchase Anchor Hocking glass and bake wear in the future, and I would also recommend this brand to others. It is a durable and high quality product. I love my Anchor Hocking Oven basics casserole dish!
