The ATi 4870 is a great graphics card for all graphic intensive tasks. It is good for anything from gaming to watching videos. No problems were encountered installing the card, just insert, install drivers, and you're good to go. The ATi drivers downclock the card when not in use, to save power, and revert the clock back to normal when used. This is also applied for the fan.

The card takes up 2 slots on the case, so you need to make sure you have enough room, otherwise it will not fit. It is also a little long, around 20 centimetres, so make sure your case is long enough.

Sapphire has made graphics cards for a long time; they can be trusted on reliability. ATi have been in the graphics card business for ages too, with their main competitor as nVidia. The nVidia equivalent of this card may be the GTX 260.

I would recommend this graphics card to everyone who can afford it. It is definately good value for your money.
