Canon is known for producing great cameras since the days film was used. They've made a good job with digital cameras too, particularly the SD950. Its picture resolution is an amazing 12.1 megapixels! I dont even have to mention the clarity of the pictures. Those who are familiar with resolution will immediately know that the higher the resolution, the better the quality of the picture when zoomed. Speaking of zooming, it is quite disappointing to find out that this camera can only manage a 3.7x Optical Zoom and a 4x Digital Zoom. I'd expect a camera like this to have a higher digital zoom at least to make benefit of the high resolution. It comes with a movie recording mode that records sound too with a considerably good quality. It has auto focus capabilities when taking pictures. It has image stabilization capabilities which ensures a good, steady shot and prevents blurring from hand movements. True enough, for a person with very shaky hands like mine, the pictures taken were clear and not blur as always. The 2.5" LCD display is flawless in color and clarity. A 32MB memory card is included with the camera. The camera also comes with a titanium body that makes it very durable and resistant to falls. Best of all, all those great features come at $325! Definately a must have.
