A great investment cottage

I had the pleasure of being invited up to this fractional ownership cottage resort. I stayed in the cottage of phase two, they are planning to build more phases soon. It was a three bedroom three bathroom two storey cottage, decorated with a very eclectic but beautiful marine theme. It is located on the scenic Lake of Bays which is about half an hour from Algonquin National Park.
It is a fractional ownership so you don't feel like you aren't welcome like when you go and rent a cottage. All of the staff they have on site were really friendly (they have a guy who will drive you around in a big eight person golf cart as well as a full time staff to do maintenance and landscaping.
The site features a games room with; pool, board games, books and a tv with satellite. There is also a fitness center with an outdoor hot tub which you can book at any time so you are guaranteed privacy. They have a fire pit which was enclosed which can be good but I found to b more of a nuisance then anything. But we used the fire colour changers which I have already talked about. Finally the boat house which is built right over the water on the lake you can sit inside on the plush couches or sit out on the upper deck or on the two low docks right by the water on the many Adirondack or sun chairs. All of the amenities are decorated with pieces that you can buy locally as there are about 150 artists in the area.
But by far my favourite part of the cottage was the boating. The Landscapes owns several kayaks, two paddle boats, two canoes and a metal row boat.
Overall this is probably the most beautiful piece of Northern Canada that you can invest in.
